1. Career Fair March 6 from 12:00–5:00 PM in the Event Center.
Dress professionally and bring your resume!

2. Xilinx Info Session March 12th from 6:30-7:30 , RM TBA
Representatives from Xilinx will be visiting SWE and IEEE to discuss details about the company and job opportunities. Food will be provided.

3. Officer Meeting March 13th from 6-8:00pm in ENG 242
In addition to the usual meeting discussions, a seminar on the transition from college to career will be presented from 6-7 for all to attend.

4. Member Meeting March 18th from 6-7:30pm in ENG 242
Tech Jewelry making activity, snacks, Global Awareness topic of “How Healthy is America?”, discussions and more! Stop by before spring break starts!

5. Healthy Hike Monday March 31st
As part of our “How Healthy is America” Global Awareness topic, SWE will be hosting a local hike for members on the last day of Spring break!

6. Visa Call for Resumes!
Visa is looking to recruit programmers for their summer internship program. Please forward your resume ASAP if you are interested in having it forwarded to a recruiter.

7. Salzburg Scholars Call for Applications!

8. Section Elections are coming up!
In March we will be voting in the executive board for next academic year.
Now is the time to start considering if you would like to be the next President,
Vice President, Secretary or Treasurer of SWE-SJSU!

9. SWE Region A Conference April 25-27th at UC Davis
If you are interested in attending the conference, please fill out the Google survey so we can establish how many hotel rooms and drivers we need.

10. MEP Joint Study Jam with Lockheed Martin
February 10th to April 30th, 6:00-8:00, Engineering 336
Lockheed Martin engineers will be here as volunteer tutors every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening to provide support with your Engineering courses. Math, Physics, Statics, Dynamics, Intro to Circuits are but a few of the courses they may be able to assist with.

11. Lean In Readings
Prof. Gleixner is co-leading a reading/discussion group the that focuses on professional development for women in STEM careers based on the book Lean In by Facebook COO Cheryl Sandberg. They will meet on Wednesdays from 12-1:15 in DMH 308. For more info, contact
