2) SWE Meeting Social at Yogurtland

SWE will be having a social at Yogurtland located on San Carlos and 4th Street on March 19th at 5:00pm! This is a great opportunity to get to meet some of your other SWE members and get some frozen yogurt! Hope to see you all there!

3) SWE T-Shirt Orders

SWE is in the process of ordering t-shirts right now and we would like to make sure that you get what you want! There are two options for t-shirts. T-shirts are originally $15 each but going to be $10 each with a subsidize from A.S. of $500. 5) Air Force Engineering Officer Informational Session

The airforce would like to conduct a short information session about Air Force Officer opportunities and benefits for engineers. This session will take place on April 1st from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in ENGR 242. They will be available to answer any questions as well as take any resumes. They will be providing food. 7) Power of WiE (Women in Engineering) Conference – Sign up

The Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering will be holding its inaugural Power of WiE (Women in Engineering) Conference here at SJSU and we hope you will join us! This will be an opportunity to raise awareness, gain valuable skills/industry insight, and connect to build community among each other, the college and industry supporters.

Space is limited, but we wanted to give you, our current students, the opportunity to “pre-register” before regular registration open to prospective students (local community colleges and admitted Fall 2015 students).

Good luck with your Spring 2015 semester and hope to see you all on the 21st. Our goal is to make this an annual occurrence, however it will depend largely on the participation we have with this first one.

8) Women@GTC Event – NVIDIA free pass

On Wednesday March 18, 2015, NVIDIA is excited to host its annual Women@GTC networking event where women developers, computer scientists and IT professionals can meet and mingle and share with colleagues and peers. If you’re a Society of Women Engineering student involved with or interested in GPUs, GTC is the conference for you and the Women@GTC networking event is a must attend!

NVIDIA is offering a free pass to SWE members from your school to attend the Women @ GTC event. Please forward this invitation to your SWE members.

6) Information Session at Varian Medical Systems

Varian Medical Systems is hosting a site/factory tour and informational session to educate students on what they do at Varian as well as career and internship opportunities they have available.
